Waynesburg's Moses gets preseason All-America honor
Prior to the 2010 football season, Waynesburg University tight end Adam Moses (pictured) was a rather unknown commodity. However, after a breakout sophomore season, the 6-4, 250-pounder drew plenty of attention and one college football publication has taken notice.
Moses was recently named a first-team preseason All-American selection by Lindy’s magazine. He led the Yellow Jackets in catches (37) and touchdown receptions (7) last season. The Fairview Park, Ohio, native was honored as a first-team All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) pick and a first-team D3football.com 2010 All-South Region pick following his breakout 2010 campaign.
Moses is the team’s first All-American since Scott Cree was a 2009 first-team preseason pick by d3football.com.
Waynesburg opens the 2011 season Sept. 3 in Newport News, Va., against Christopher Newport.
