Juniors Gino Rometo and Steven Shumaker combined for 397 total yards during Saturday's win over Thiel. Through three games last year, Bobby Swallow had thrown for 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns. Rometo and Shumaker have combined for 773 yards and eight touchdowns. … Rometo and Shumaker each threw for more than 100 yards last week, marking the first time that has occurred since Oct. 28, 2000, when Brian Dawson (219 yards) and Chris Locher (103 yards) accomplished the rare feat.
